  • Apana Vayu: It travels from the navel to the anus and urethra. Its main function is to evacuate urine, feces and Menstrual from their own path.

We may add some acupressure therapy or Marma therapy to enhance the experience of pain relief.

The pressure in Abhyanga – Ayurvedic massage is varying. It’s related to “Marma”/ Energy Point. Marma stimulation enlivens the harmonious coordination among Vata’s sub doshas. It synchronizes the neurophysiological mechanism in the body. During massage the skin absorbs a significant amount of oil. That’s why the skin becomes healthier and smooth in touch.

Abhyanga can be done by oneself called “self-massage”. We recommend that self-massage must be part of everyone’s daily ritual. Professional Abhyanga can be done once or twice a month. Also, when it is needed as a part of Panchkarma / Ayurvedic Detox Therapies.
