I am not sick I am healthy

According to yoga, diseases are not cured and one should not even try to cure them. All one has to do is manage and discipline one’s life, and diseases will be cured automatically.

Sri Swami Satyananda said that people generally believe that yoga cures the disease. However, if a sick person always thinks about his sickness and believes that he is sick, then no form of medical practice is going to help.

Therefore, the first therapy for a sick person is to remove the thought from his mind that he is sick. As long as one does not remove this thought, there won’t be freedom from the disease. The first thought which must come to a sick person is ‘I am not sick, I am Healthy. When the person thinks ‘I am not sick I am Healthy’, the mind starts affecting the body. If one constantly thinks about physical ailment and disease, then even a healthy person will get sick due to constant negative thinking.

The first principle is ‘I am not sick – I am Healthy.

The second principle is the appropriate practices – continuous repetition.

It means for every condition there are not more than four to six practices. The general practices are for the enhancement of health and not for the cure.

When one connects the body with yoga in hatha yoga then three effects are seen.

The first effect is if there is any disease or ill health then its removal becomes possible through yoga.

After that, one strives to enhance health, to become free from disease and ill health, and to make the healing condition all the more powerful. After that comes prevention. If any condition, tension, germ, bacteria or pollution affect the body, the body must have the immunity, power and strength to fight it. If before one would have fallen sick for ten days, then now one would fall sick only for two days.

Yoga has three aspects considering the body: curative, preventive and promotive.

Generally people should practise the promotive aspect. They should do the practices for the enhancement of health, and allow regulation, discipline and organization to come into their lives.

People eat breakfast at twelve, lunch at three, sleep at eleven in the night and want to keep themselves fit. By being in the mud, they want to keep their clothes clean. That is impossible.

By going into the coal mine, they want to keep their clothes clean. Do you think it’s possible? Wherever they will go, the clothes will be stained.

If you go into the world, you have to bear the suffering of the world, with discrimination, not with fear and anxiety. When you are afraid of disease and tension you cannot treat yourself.

However, if you perform your work with discrimination, then every type of cure becomes possible.

Adopt this attitude in your life and let us know what changes you noticed in your life?

BE HAPPY AND STAY HEALTHY.

What do you think fat is bad?

"Ghee" comes from the Sanskrit word meaning "sprinkled," and it basically means that the milk fat is rendered from the butter to separate the milk solids and water. It’s made by melting butter and skimming the fat off of the top. You’ll be left with a yellow liquid when it’s hot and a creamy looking solid one when the ghee cools down.

Ghee is made from a natural source (butter) and because of the way it’s prepared by continuing to simmer with the milk solids to give a final product with a distinguished taste" the lactose and milk protein content is nil to minimal, making it better tolerated by those with dairy sensitivities."

Ghee has gotten a bad reputation over the past 30 years due to its high saturated fat content. But research has revealed that instead of increasing the risk of heart disease, ghee actually decreases it. Ghee made from grass-fed butter is packed with vitamins A, D, E and K, as well as fatty acids CLA and butyric acid, leading to some interesting health benefits.

Ghee can reduce your risk of heart disease.
Ghee is rich in conjugated linoleic acid, or CLA, a fatty acid known to be protective against carcinogens, artery plaque and diabetes. Because of these benefits, researchers say ghee can potentially be used to help prevent cardiovascular diseases.

Ghee can help you make beautiful babies.
If you’re planning on trying to conceive anytime soon, vitamin K2 is an important nutrient to incorporate into your diet. Grass-fed ghee is a great source of vitamin K2, making it an important food for pre-conception and pregnancy. Children born to mothers with high levels of vitamin K2 are more likely to have wide, symmetrical faces with plenty of room for straight, healthy teeth later on.

Ghee can help to heal your digestive tract.
Good digestion is the key to good health, and if you’re dealing with any sort of digestive issues, healing your gut lining is an important first step. Ghee is rich in butyric acid, a short-chain fatty acid that reduces inflammatory conditions, reduces seepage of undigested food particles, aids in the repair of the mucosal wall and nourishes the cells of the intestines.

Ghee may be able to help you lose weight.
CLA has shown to help prevent weight gain and aid in weight loss with cardiovascular benefits. Ghee is rich in medium chain fatty acids which are absorbed directly to the liver (like carbs) and burnt as energy. Athletes can use ghee as a consistent energy source The energy from these medium chain fatty acids can be used to burn other fats in the system and lose weight.
This is why Ghee is the best as cooking oil and making sweets.

Ghee is high in nutrition.
Ghee has oil soluble vitamin A and E. Ghee is rich in K2 and CLA (Conjugated Linoleic Acid) – an antioxidant with anti-viral properties if it is sourced from grass-fed cows. Ghee is rich in medium chain fatty acids which are absorbed directly to the liver (like carbs) and burnt as energy. Athletes can use ghee as a consistent energy source.

Ghee is used as Anti-Inflammatory and Anti-Cancer Researchers are using oral butyrate supplements and butyrate enemas to treat inflammatory bowel diseases such as Crohn’s and ulcerative colitis.
• Ayurvedic physicians have been using ghee enemas for centuries to decrease inflammation.

Ghee is creating a Healthy Immune System and a strong appetite. Research shows that adequate production of butyric acid supports the production of killer T cells in the gut, and thus a strong immune system.

Ghee stimulates the secretion of gastric acid, thus aiding in the digestive process. Better digestion equals better health and weight loss.

Ghee can easily reduce stress.
Modern research is now revealing that negative emotions have a chemical nature. This is what ancient cultures have always maintained, that the mind and body are one. These chemicals are attracted to and stored in fat.

Ghee can be used to replace those fats. Plus, if used properly in a cleanse, can attract and pull out these emotional toxins so they can be cleansed from the body. That’s why Detox procedures are started having Ghee in Ayurveda.

Ghee can help to absorb medicines easily in the body.
Many of the medicinal properties of herbs and spices can be absorbed and transported to targeted areas of the body with ghee. You can fry your kitchen spices in ghee before adding to your dishes. This is why Ayurveda uses ghee in thousands of different herbal preparation.
